Who we are
BurnDoor is a project of STUDIO IN.TANGIBLE, a SAS registered in France (SIREN 103 658 241), 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller. You can reach us at bonjour@studiointangible.com.
What the list keeps
When you join the BurnDoor list we keep:
- your email address;
- your answers, if you give them: your first name, which Bolex cameras you shoot, which version of the door you want (the door, the bundle or a motorised door), and what you would pay for the door, in US dollars;
- the date and time you joined, and when you confirmed your email address;
- any campaign tags in the link you followed to get here (for example "instagram"), so we know which posts brought people.
Every answer after your email is optional. We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels on this site. The fonts and everything else on the page are served from our own server, so visiting the site doesn't send your details to anyone else. Your browser remembers that you've joined, on your own device only, so the page doesn't ask you twice. To stop abuse, our server counts sign-up attempts from each internet address for an hour, in memory only; the address isn't saved with your details.
Why we use it
To check your email address is yours, to write to you when there's test footage or a door to buy, and to understand which cameras people shoot and what they want before we make it. We use it on the basis of your consent, which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time, and we'll delete your details.
How long we keep it
Until BurnDoor goes on sale and for 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If we stop the project, we delete the whole list.
Who handles it
Your details are stored in a database on our own server, rented from Hostinger International Limited and located in Paris, France. We don't sell them, and nobody else receives them.
We don't send any emails yet. When we do, they will be sent by Resend, run by Plus Five Five, Inc. in the United States. It will receive only your email address, handle it under a data processing agreement with us, and is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We'll update this notice before that starts.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we keep about you, to stop using it, or to give you a copy. Email bonjour@studiointangible.com. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or the CNIL in France (cnil.fr).
Changes
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you've already given us, we'll tell you first.
